Gareth Smith is the VP, Business Strategy for ImaginAb. Gareth has over 15 years’ experience in the field of nuclear medicine diagnostics and radiopharmaceutical therapies. On completing a PhD in Chemistry at King’s College London, Gareth began his career in industry with GE Healthcare, working in Research and Development of novel oncology and neurology agents for PET. He later moved to Oxford University Innovation where alongside familiar medical imaging technologies he supported the commercialization of a broad range of technologies through management of out-licensing and spin-out company capital raising and formation. Prior to joining ImaginAb, Gareth was most recently Chief Operating Officer for Theragnostics supporting pipeline development, financing, and establishing global manufacturing and distribution. Owing to his passion for the continuous improvement in patient care Gareth remains in touch with several spinouts he has worked with to support thinking on commercialization of new concepts.
